This Confidential Information Overview is written to introduce the public to Gold Lion Productions, LLC (GLP), who we are, what we have accomplished, and our goal. As you will learn in the following pages, GLP was formed to produce a feature film entitled “Third Man in the Ring”, a film inspired by the true-life story of Teddy Martin, a celebrated professional Hall of Fame fight referee in the 1940’s and 1950’s. The source material for the script is a book describing the colorful drama outside the ropes of living with Teddy Martin as told by his daughter, the president of GLP, Barbara Stolfi Maggio.
Gold Lion Productions is currently in
the preproduction phase of producing the film. Preproduction includes raising
the funds for the film. As anyone familiar with the movie business knows
raising the money for production is not for the faint of heart. Although to
achieve one’s goal, one must be persistent. Ray Kroc, former owner of
MacDonald’s, perhaps put it best,
“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with great talent. Genius will not, unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent.”
It is the objective of the Company to produce a dynamic, exciting quality film while keeping costs under absolute control.
